Hello I'm Carlton Miller-Cordova
I am an animator and digital artist that is going to pursue a career in Animation. Ever since I was a child, I have been fascinated by animation and I have been drawing pictures that time to the present. I have spent hours sketching multiple pictures on a sketchpad every day, creating characters, creatures, and all kinds of strange worlds. As time passed I focused on improving my artistic skills and would eventually learn digital art software for designing artwork online. My dream is to one day be able to create an animated show that would inspire others to enter the animation field just like I did.

My Story
When I was born, I was diagnosed with some learning disabilities, there were a few individuals in the field of education who believed that I would be lucky to just graduate from high school let alone attend college. This became one of the factors that motivated me into furthering my education after high school and pushing myself to achieve the best possible education I could have.
In my technical high school, I started out as a graphic designer due to it being the only artistic major at the time that was available and then after I entered college my interests transitioned and so I became an Animation + Game Arts major. Afterwards my skills began to shine as I learned not only animation but also how to digitally draw both 2D and 3D digital art. After I graduate college, I will continue to learn about my profession to further advance my skills.
I'm a hardworking individual that will focus on the job at hand. I believe that honesty is the key factor in working as it can build a foundation of trust. Motivation is also important as well in order to achieve your goal. One's own enthusiasm or interest is key to achieving success without needing pressure from others. I feel that people who work on assignments should work to the best of their abilities, they shouldn’t try to work at 100% or try to make it perfect either. Lastly, people should do the things they are supposed to do and accept the results of your actions, accountability matters, taking the praise or the blame for something they have done. I believe in the saying “Work smarter, not harder.”
